Here is a brief update on the meet in Japan. I think that all went well for us today. In the women's meet, Rebecca Bross took first in All-Around. In the men's, Danell took third and Phillip fourth. Danell qualified for six events and Phillip on five. Danell and Philip could have finished in second and third if it weren't for touching the floor with the hands on the PB, and a fall on the dismount on the rings, respectively. Taking into account the large time difference and lengthy travel time, I think they performed excellently. The strength of our team is not only my opinion, but the observation of many of the coaches on the floor, including the Japanese staff. There were competitors from Russia, Germany, France, Canada, Great Britain, Ukraine, Romania, Belarus, Australia, and of course, Japan and the USA.

I attach photographs of the awards.
